Finlandia Lappi When we say "Finlandia", images of fresh, clean air and water spring to mind. Lappi, made from the purest cow's milk, conjures up those same wholesome images. Lappi has what many cheese-lovers prefer today, a lower fat content than the regular Cheddar, because it's made from partly-skim milk. Like the Edam cheese it closely resembles, it has a pale yellow colour and irregularly-spread but small holes. Six weeks of aging has produced it's mild taste and subtle aroma. Its firm consistency means it's sliceable, yet it retains a soft meltability. We've also eliminated rind and waste. These qualities make Lappi versatile, ideal for sandwiches, cooking or just snacking. Lappi is a happy addition to your cheese selection at an excellent price point.
